Heaters // Haptic: Vegyn + sosi b2b Roof Access

April 6th, 2022

This is massive. Heaters and Haptic are delighted to welcome Vegyn, a London-based producer who specialises in experimental, rhythmic, low-end dancefloor music. Perhaps most well-known for his work on Frank Ocean’s “Blonde” and “Endless”, as well as frequent collaborations with the alternative hip-hop world, his productions avoid the clichéd hallmarks of most dance music and transcend hip-hop trends.

London DJ, Balamii resident, and Film Graze podcast host Roof Access is one of Vegyn’s oldest friends in the ‘biz, and a fellow co-host on Frank Ocean’s blonded RADIO Apple Music 1 show. He’s warming up with DJ sosi, and Haptic residents.

We don’t expect tickets to hang around…

Postal with Jasper Tygner

April 3rd, 2022

Shaped by early raving experiences in London’s legendary Plastic People and a deep reverence for jungle, dubstep and garage, Jasper Tygner makes rave-inspired, melody-driven tracks bursting with melancholic detail.

The producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist is one of this year’s most promising ones to watch. His self-released debut EP received strong radio support from BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra and Reprezent Radio, championed by Jaguar and Jamz Supernova.

He makes his Edinburgh debut for Postal, our weekly Sunday session with cheap tickets for the hottest names in underground dance, and our pick of Scotland’s finest selectors.

EHFM presents: Radio Buena Vida

April 2nd, 2022

The crossover episode you didn’t know you wanted!

For April’s dance, we’ve invited the legends from Radio Buena Vida over from the west coast for a wee social.

Radio Buena Vida is a community internet radio station, broadcasting across the globe from the window of local independent record shop – Some Great Reward – in Glasgow’s Govanhill neighbourhood in Scotland.

Since starting in October 2020, RBV have made a real contribution to the city’s music scene, platforming folk from every background – from enthusiastic beginners to established local – spanning a wide range of music genres and providing a platform for under-represented voices.

We’re huge fans and delighted to have some a couple of their heavy hitters, Joe Unknown and Lunarplatz, join our very own Hiba and Poly800.

As always, profits from the night go towards keeping these two community stations running.

Postal with Lucky Dip, OISÍN + Heybreau

March 27th, 2022

It’s a family affair this week at Postal! Plant Bass’d head honcho OISÍN plays with his friends Heybreau, Chloe and loving sister Niamh who combine to form the formidable duo named Lucky Dip. An actual nightmare game of twister but one hell of lineup. Expect everything from ghetto tech to grime, this is a combo that’s better than (vegan) ham and cheese.
