Our Privacy Policy can be found here.

Gigs are 14+, start at 7pm and have a 10pm curfew. Those aged 14-17 must be accompanied by an adult.  Check ticketing for shows to be sure of the age restrictions that night.

Tickets for most gigs are available from the link on our gig page and in person or online from Tickets Scotland.

Clubnights are all 18+ and start at 11pm.

ID requirement

We operate a challenge 25 policy. If you are lucky enough to look younger than 25, we will ask for ID. We only accept passport and drivers license, without exception. We understand that not everyone identifies with the name and/or gender on their ID. In such cases we are discreet, we will not make an issue and there is no need to explain, but we do require ID to be shown.

Hiring Sneaky Pete’s

We are available for hire for live gigs. More info here.

Running clubnights at Sneaky Pete’s is by invitation only.

Venue Access Info

We are happy to welcome Deaf and disabled customers. For any access queries, get in touch with Nick via the contact form. We aim to get back to you as soon as possible.

Venue Description:

There is one step up at the front door, for which we can provide a ramp. Thereafter the venue is on one level all the way to the stage.

The venue is small and gets crowded. We don’t have specific viewing platforms or areas. If you’d like us to provide a seat we can do this, and we ask that you please arrive early enough to ensure that we can locate a seat close to the stage so your view isn’t impaired.

We don’t have widened toilets, however the nearest accessible toilet is at The Three Sisters, 50 yards further down Cowgate, and they are happy to accommodate our patrons.

Free Tickets for Personal Assistants

We offer free tickets for personal assistants. Most shows have an option to select a free ticket. If the show you’d like your assistant to attend with you does not offer this on the ticket page, get in touch with Nick via this contact form once you have purchased your own ticket, and let Nick know which show you will be attending. We’ll put your assistant on the guest list.

Transport and Parking:

There is parking on the Cowgate after 6.30pm. We ask that you don’t park immediately in front of the club, but elsewhere on the street should be fine.

We are about 500 yards from Edinburgh Waverley train station. There are steep hills both uphill and downhill on the route.

There are many bus stops nearby for a wide variety of routes, consult timetables for more info.

Entry

Our door stewards will be happy to greet you at the door, if you have any specific needs please let them know. They will also get the ramp if you need one.

For gigs, the box office desk is immediately beyond the front door, it is just a small folding table so we can come to you if it’s not easy to greet you at the desk.

For clubs, the door stewards check tickets and collect door money outside. Most of our shows have online tickets available. We don’t require these to be printed, you can show us the tickets on a phone or tablet. Sometimes we just need to know your name.

Tickets are sometimes available on the door, but we recommend purchasing advance tickets to be sure of entry.

Customers with Medical Requirements:

We welcome attendees who need to bring medicines, food or drink to manage a medical condition, or medical equipment.

Contact us if you have any concerns.

Speak to any staff in case of an emergency. We always have first aiders on shift.

Access to Performance:

We do not provide access loops at this time.

We allow assistance dogs.

Strobe Lighting:

We often have strobe lighting at the venue, especially for club shows.
