
WIDE DAYS: Honeyblood and Homework
We are pleased to announce the line up for this year’s showcase tour which takes place on Thursday 12 April, at the end of the two-day music industry conference. A diverse range of genres including electronica, singer-songwriter, folk and math rock will be represented. And for the first-time the event will feature a foreign band with award-winning, Norwegian teen punks Honningbarna making their debut Scottish appearance.

Wide Days Conference
This year’s Wide Days conference takes place at Edinburgh’s Teviot Row House on April 11-12 and includes seminars about A&R, getting gigs abroad, promoting destinations through music and music hotels. Confirmed speakers include Alex Knight, whose Fat Cat label signed Frightened Rabbit, Twilight Sad, We Were Promised Jetpacks and PAWS.
Anna Hildur, the recently appointed head of Nordic Music Export and head of Iceland’s You Are In Control creative industries conference will explain how music and tourism sectors can work more closely. Mike Shorter and musician Tommy Perman will demonstrate instrument innovations as part of the Just Around The Corner panel.
